The candidate will spearhead and lead the regional marketing organization and downstream activation of global initiatives. Reporting to Senior Marketing Director, the regional Marketing Director will increase revenue opportunities through the execution of strategic marketing campaigns and activities. Span of control will be Europe & South America.

Role & Responsibilities:

•    Plan, guide and execute a marketing strategy for the regional organisation for new and existing products or services that aligns to the global marketing strategy and overall RIB vision, mission, purpose and strategic objectives.
•    Oversee the region and in-country implementation of the global, regional and in-country marketing and brand strategies.
•    Guide the day-to-day activities of the regional marketing team.
•    Set, administer and oversee the regionally allocated marketing budget.
•    Develop, manage and oversee paid for advertising campaigns for regional inbound and outbound lead generation, with the support of the global centre of competence.
•    Support, co-create and maintain the region’s digital presence with strategic input from the global centre of competence.
•    Develop, manage and oversee the calendar of events such as webinars, conferences, 3rd party events and thought leadership contributions for the region.
•    The creation of local content that resonates, builds authority and generates demand, as well as the localization and transcreation of globally created content where relevant.
•    Develop, manage and oversee regional origin product marketing including content, collateral, offer launches, competitor analysis, user communities and events etc.
•    Drive the retention and advocacy of the existing customer base through value-add and precision marketing.
•    Act as a support and liaison to the region’s channel partners, strategic alliances and external influencers, identifying and driving synergies where they may exist.
•    Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan and activities if necessary.
•    Implement and champion the globally selected tools, solutions and materials to enable the regional marketing and sales team to function relevantly and effectively.
•    Track, measure and manage marketing campaign spend and report on the effectiveness using pre-determined KPIs/ROI metrics.
•    Implement the downstream activation of global PR and comms initiatives and activities.
•    Negotiate with regional media and creative agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials and marketing collateral.

Qualification & Experience:

•    Tertiary qualification in Marketing or similar discipline
•    At least 5 years of B2B marketing experience including not less than 2 years in a leadership role, managing a marketing team
•    Solid copywriting skills and an excellent handle on the English language
•    Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
•    Proven ability of managing budgets
•    High level of attention to detail
•    Excellent time management skills
•    Professional and pro-active work ethic
•    Experience with digital marketing channels
•    Experience with marketing automation systems highly regarded
